it wasn't in the plan to go to cameron highlands in the first place as we were all agreed with other two destinations, but dear ayah was so kind wanted me to revisit the place after 12 years, which led us to spend a night up there. the last time was in 2000 to celebrate my UPSR. just reminds me how much i grew since then. we took the road uphill from simpang pulai according to ayah is not as steep as tapah's, plus nearer for us from north too. the view along the journey was simply breathtaking! it was very chill, windy but refreshing!
on the way up, we stopped at a strawberry farm;
there are so many shops sell lots of things from fresh products to souvenirs for tourists at tringkap. the siblings decided to have a tour around the rose valley while dear parents chose to walk around looking at the stuffs offered along the road. we had a great time inside the valley, and took pictures with almost every flower blooming in the garden!
the least thing i would guess to happen at cameron highlands is traffic jam, yet no far from brinchang, where we booked a room to stay, that exactly happened. and the thing i also hope not to happen is alza to break down. unfortunately, the reality hit when we least expected., dont they? alza faced clutch problem and we were stranded for few hours not able to go anywhere and finally took a cab to the motel. this was what we did to kill the time.
night at brinchang was happening. the pasar malam is just a walking distance made me extra happy. i love fresh fruits and made bargain of strawberries and honey oranges! it was drizzling too which just added to the coldness of the night. since we were advised that alza might not be able to survive if it has to face traffic jam again, we left cameron highlands early morning the next day. it was short but i simply enjoyed the trip!
