so colourful

syawal celebration at school. I was surprised to arrive with the sea of colourful kids in their raya outfits view at the morning assembly. they were all really dressed up in bright yellow, striking red, calming blue, ah almost all the colours you can think of! if only we could have this everyday, school must be an awesome place for them too! with scarf in yuna's style, najwa latif's just name all the recent scarflets styles and heels were higher than the teachers, they managed to steal my gaze and got me amazed. two girls were really stunning in my eyes; one with everything on her was red, from head to toe - shoes, baju kurung, scarf, brooches, yes all and the other one was so cute in all white lacey baju kurung that people could mistaken for a nikah dress. hoho dahsyatlah kanak kanak!

we had merdeka raya viewing session, kids and teachers' performances, kuih raya makan makan and stuffing ourselves with nasi minyak and gulai kawah for lunch. in end of the day, we had no class and everyone was indeed happy.

more celebration!

had little one's small celebration for his 11th birthday. our amir daniel is now 11! happy birthday dearest darling! you'll always be everyone's favourite! xoxo :)

initially was planning to go somewhere else that little one was very excited about, since the second wasn't there, we changed the plan and decided to go there next time when everyone is at home! and you were always in our thought when we were eating those angah!

some of my favourite moments

# decided to wear little one's favourite colour this year, which is green. 

# after so long, it was the first time everyone went for solat raya together at the mosque. 

# it was my first time giving duit raya too. too excited I even DIY the envelope! 

# that greenish baju kurung I wore was only taken from tailor a day before raya. busily sew black patch lace on it on malam raya. 

# had a busy busy day on the first day of Syawal. went to bed at 8.30 that night with lights on. 

# all the kids really love ice cream biscuits. they were gone in the blink of eye! 

# enjoyed having 'new little sister' in the family! I miss you already niece.

# still received duit raya! :)

# the thought of tok hit me hard this time. may we meet in Jannah insyaAllah. 

# like Ramadhan, Syawal is gone too fast. time really flies.

I'm sorry that you have to cope with the silence I didn't realize I've created. the truth is, I don't always have things to share. I always find it's much easier to indulge in my own world doing own stuff than cracking head what stories to tell.

so, I'm sorry that you have to feel that way when I'm around. I'm sorry that I don't talk much. I'll do what I can to improve.
